Teams from Tradition, Heritage, International and River Club will participate. Lunch served first then shotgun. Showtime approximately 11 am. Look for details to be posted in the member's room along with a sign-up sheet. Any questions call Bobbie Fleiss. Tradition Golf Club and the Tradition Ladies Golf Association will be hosting the State here on Tuesday, July 10th. We expect a very large turnout and would be needing volunteer help in many areas. Please put this date on your calendar and consider signing up to help run this tournament. |

II. 2012 STATE TOURNAMENT INFORMATION The 2012 State Tournament Schedule is posted in the members' room. I have also attached a PDF file copy of this schedule that you can download and print or you can log on to WSCGA.ORG and print the schedule from that website. The first tournament of the year is scheduled for March 13, 2012 with a sign up deadline of February 8, 2012. This is a two person team Better Ball tournament with a choice of two (2) tournament sites: Three Pines in Wodruff, SC (approx a 4 1/2 hr ride) and Fripp Island Club in Fripp Island, SC ( approx a 3 1/2 hr ride). The sign up sheet for this tournament is now posted in the members' room. For your information, there will be several one day state tournaments in our area this year: Tuesday, April 10 - Whispering Pines in Myrtle Beach Tuesday, June 12 - The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach Wednesday, August 15 - Barefoot Resort and Golf in N. Myrtle Beach Tuesday, September 11 - Litchfield Country Club in Pawleys Island Tuesday, December 11 - Prestwick Country Club in Myrtle Beach NOTE: Tradition is hosting a tournament on Tuesday, July 10 and we will be looking for volunteers to help out so please mark this on your calendar. In addition to the above one day tournaments, there are two state "Championship" tournaments in the area: 1. May 7 - 8: The Senior Championship at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet 2.
